Singapore Haul

I have nothing to blog about Singapore since my DSLR was in the hostel room from the day we arrived until the day we left. I can blog about the class trip but that will be very wordy and dull.
Since I can't blog about the trip, I might as well blog about the haul because I absolutely love Orchard Road shopping especially SEPHORA! :)

So here's what I bought from Singapore!

Sephora Makeup Studio
I was contemplating whether or not to get this makeup palette since I do not normally wear makeup to college and also because I do not want to waste my 30 minutes of sleep every morning just to do my makeup. My sleep is very important okay. Plus no one in my class wears makeup, it would be weird to be the only one. And also I have single eyelids.
This palette costs SGD79.00 and of course with limited SGD, I didn't want to get it......

UNTIL I OPENED THE PALETTE.

I am a sucker for colours. Pronto.
Words can't describe how I feel (if you get what I mean).
How can I not buy it? I mean, look at those colours!!!
The top layer can be slide aside to reveal more eyeshadows!!

The eyeshadows and lip colours.
There's this 'drawer' thingy that you can pull open to reveal the blushers, bronzers, eyeliners,  some mini brushes and eyeliners.
I bought it in the end after calling mom all the way from Singapore. I bought it for the girls in the family. :))
That way it wouldn't go to waste! Maybe I should just use makeup everyday. Which I think is not possible.
THE BEST BUY EVER!!! *proud**

MAC blusher.
I got the shade Pinch O' Peach, something subtle and not over the top.
A 2-in-1 Kabuki brush.
An off shoulder flowery top from H&M.

Double sided double eyelid tape from Sasa.
Essential Nuance Airy shampoo, conditioner, mask and leave in serum.
I adore Essential's products! Tried it two years ago in Singapore when I had the free samples. Long before Xiaxue blogged about it. :D

Skittles of different flavours that is not available in Malaysia.
These are for my siblings who will be coming next week.
And that concludes my post!
If only I had more cash or perhaps a credit card, this post would definitely be longer. :D I'm serious!

Movie marathon

I just got back from my class trip to Singapore 9 hours ago and things didn't really go according to what I've mentally planned for myself when I reach Subang Jaya. Mehhhhhh

What I was SUPPOSE to do:
- Unpack luggage
- Laundry
- Sweeping and mopping the room
- Figure out a way to get rid of the AS past years
- Take a long nap

What I actually did:
- Downloaded and watched movies T___T

Yep. This is life.
All because I didn't get to finish the same movie on the bus twice. I really wanted to know what happened in the end so I had to download the movie and watch it immediately after the download was completed. Unifi is fast today. The download took me only half an hour! :D
The movie was so awesome! I've learnt to never judge a movie by its title.

One thing led to another. The next thing I know, I've spent the whole night watching 'The Ugly Truth' and 'The Back-up Plan'. Love them all! My reward for late night studyings for the finals. :)

I am gonna watch one more movie before I sleep. Good night!!

Moved.

Sorry guys for changing the URL.

The reason why I changed the URL is because I wanted my gmail account to be link to the blog and since my hotmail account IS already a Google Account, I don't think I can link both Google accounts together. I want to keep my gmail account signed in every time I turn on my laptop. Because I have two Google accounts, whenever I sign in to my Blogger account, my Gmail account would automatically be signed out. I tried multiple sign in but that didn't work for me as well. *shrugs*
Plus I do not want to use Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox to blog because of their super slow loading. :((

GOOGLE YOU SUCK!

And I thought that I can use the old URL for this blog if I changed the URL for the other blog to something else. Turns out I cannot use the same URL for two different accounts. -___-
Hence, the need for a new URL.

This is my new URL: www.xian-sationalized.blogspot.com

Though I like the old URL a lot. :(

Thank goodness I stayed up until 1:30am going through the Biology past years. Quite a number of the questions from previous years came out for today's paper.
I HATE THE FACT THAT I COULDN'T REMEMBER THE ANSWER FOR ONE OF THEM! >:(

I am going to pack for the class trip now before studying for Physics.

Cheers?

After disappearing for about 6 months or so, I am back, and hopefully for good. :3

So many things happened within these six months.
TDC's Production II, AS trials, university applications, work attachment, university interviews, AS Finals the list goes on. Speaking about AS Finals, my AS Finals is coming to an end (around 2 more days *happy dance*). Finally... AS Finals started on 25th October 2011 with Chemistry practical, and will end on 24th November with Physics Paper 1. Can't believe it's almost over!

For those of you who do not know what AS is, it is basically something like Lower 6 and Upper 6. Cambridge A-Levels is split into to parts, AS (Advance Subsidiary) and A2 (not sure what it means though). Hence we will be sitting for two finals, one for AS and the other for A2, unlike other examination boards, where AS is split into a few modules and they do not have actual exam-based practicals. From what I've seen and heard, Cambridge A-Levels is the toughest A-Levels out there as it is the original A-Levels board.

Anyway, I should be studying right now because tomorrow I have Biology Paper 1 and I must score for that subject. Can't wait for AS Finals to end because I'll be going to Singapore with my fellow classmates for our class trip! This is my second class trip ever in 18 years of my life. My first was the miserable Primary 6 graduation class trip to Cultural Village. -__- Fine. It's not THAT miserable.

To end this post I shall upload a photo of my best friend - Janice. Don't judge me for having a dog as my best friend! I had her since I was 7 and now I'm 18.

Ain't she adorable? :3
I shall update soon, if I have the time and mood and also if I remember. x)

UGGH

I wanted to blog about last night this morning, and include a few photos in the post. BUT, Blogger just won't work with me today.
I tried uploading the three same photos for a few times already and it was never successful. Successful as in three out of three photos aren't experiencing any problem. The photos are like corrupted!! :( By the way, there is nothing wrong with the photos in my laptop.

WHAT IS THIS??

I have a feeling that my extremely slow internet speed has got something to do with it.

Just see for yourself... The photos never appear. It is what you see in the thumbnail.
The same photo being uploaded FOUR TIMES, and was never successful.

This sucks.

I need to try harder...

I am disappointed with myself the moment I know my Semester One results.
I thought that I would at least scored high A's for my Semester One. But no, I didn't.

Maths.
I expected a high A for this subject. It turned out I got only 80 marks. What happened?!!

Thinking Skills.
I have no idea why some people say that Thinking Skills is a 'Free A' subject. I don't feel so. To me,  it is a really dumb subject that is not applicable. I can say that it is worse than Languages, because you get to apply Languages.

Chemistry.
Why? I don't understand.
Was it because I was too upset on the day of the exam??

Physics.
I tried.

Biology.
I started two weeks before and I guess it is not enough...

Well, at least I know that Maths is still my best subject followed by Biology, Chemistry and lastly Physics.
Don't judge. I know. This is not what I want for my Semester One.
This sucks. Nothing can cheer me up right now. Not even food.
When Semester Two starts, I've gotta study even harder. This is definitely not enough and is proven by the results.
Hence, I must score high A's for all my subjects for my trials in August.
Wish me luck. xx

Mini Shopaholic

Something to keep me occupied during the holidays. :D
I hope this is as good as the other Shopaholic books.
